Accessible design

Why colour blindness simulation matters

Colours which look distinct to one person can appear very similar to another. Designers should check contrast, labels, icons, patterns, and visual meaning instead of relying on colour alone to communicate important information.

These simulations are approximations. They are useful for identifying potential problems, but they should not replace accessibility checks or testing with real users.
