Can a PDF or SVG contain a JPG or PNG?
Yes. These formats can hold embedded images as well as vector content. The file extension describes the format, not a guarantee that every element is vector.
Does a blurry preview mean my artwork is raster?
Not necessarily. Some files include a small bitmap preview even when the underlying artwork contains vectors. Use the structural evidence alongside the preview. For an uncertain result, inspect the original artwork in suitable design software.
Can this tool turn a PNG or JPG into a vector?
No. It checks the file; it does not trace or redraw artwork. Creating an editable vector version requires tracing or recreating the design, followed by a check of the resulting shapes and detail.
Does a vector result mean the file is ready to print?
No. Fonts, colour requirements, dimensions, bleed and any embedded images may still need attention. This is an initial artwork check. Your printer or production supplier can confirm the requirements for the finished item.
Why might a PDF or EPS need manual review?
Some drawing data is compressed or stored in structures this check cannot fully interpret. Limited detected evidence does not prove that vector artwork is absent. Treat an uncertain result as a reason to inspect the file further.
